Control valve incorrectly adjusted. Adjust the valve, see page 4-3. Control valve leaks. Check the control valve and replace faulty parts. OiI pressure too low due to faulty relief valve. Check the relief valve and replace faulty parts. _ OiI pressure too low due to blocked up oil strainer. Clean the oil stra'iner. l _ Non-return vaIve on pump Ieaks. Check the valve and replace faulty parts. i Broken pump p_unger return spring. Remove the pump and rep_ace the plunger spring. Solenoid not receiving current. Check the parts in the circuit. (See wiring diagram, Fig. 3, on page 4-1 .) Faulty solenoid. RepIace soIenoid. _ OVERDRIVE DOES NOT DlSENGAGE N.B. This troubl8 must be attended to as soon as possible. The vehicle must _ot be reversed with the overdr_ive engaged since this can cause ser_ious damage. Control valve incorrectly adjusted. _ Adjuat the valve, see page Q-3. Blocked oi I passage in valve rod. _ Remove tfe control valve. Take out and clean the valve rod. CLUTCH SLIPS IN OVERDRIVE POSITION lnsufficient oil in the ge8rboK. _ Fill up with oil to the level plug. Worn or glazed clutch facings. _ Dismantle the overdrive and replace the facings. Oil pressure too low. Check the oil pressure, see page 4-3. _ See also under ''Overdrive does not disengage''. Blocked oil passage in valve rod. Remove the control valve. Take out and clean the valve rod. Spring pressure on clutch too low. Dismantle the overdrive and check the springs for the clutch ring. Replace faulty springs. OVERDRIVE ENGAGES IN DIRECT DRIVE POSITlON N.B. OnIy applies for late production units with free oil circulation in direct drive.
