Fitting the distributor
1. Check that the piston in No. 1 cylinder is at
top dead centre and that the distributor drive
pinion is correctly fitted in accordance with _
the description in the previous section.
2. Fit the distributor but do not tighten it in po-
sition.
3. Turn tfe distributor housing slowIy clockwise
until tfe contact breakers open for No. 1 cy-
linder. Tighten the distributor in th_is position.
Make sure that the rotor arm points towards
the contact in the distributor cap for No. 1
cylinder sparking plug, see Fig. 67.
